- A) Sahaita organization for the following projects:
- 1. Education for the children in India who do not have the resources. Education expense for one child in India can be covered in merely 20 dollars.
- 2. Supporting the needs of children (including abandoned children with physical and mental disabilities) at Bal Ghar orphanage in Punjab, India.
- 3. Adopt a famers family project (low socioeconomic families or families affected by farmer suicide). Annual needs of low socioeconomic status family in India can be met by 500 dollars per annum.
- B) Oxygen concentrators for India: PFI Collaboration
PhysiciansForIndia.org (PFI) is an initiative founded by the alumni of University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS). United Visions International (UVI) in partnership with PFI fundraised for 100 oxygen concentrators which have been ordered on 14th May 2021. We are currently coordinating the logistics of transport to India and customs clearance in Delhi. We’ve solicited support applications through a PFI support form and created a prioritized list of hospitals and small clinics. Local PFI team leaders in Delhi will be coordinating the distribution operation. Updates on the distribution will be posted on PFI website.
